44. In proceedings pending on 1 January 2003, receipt of the abstract referred to in section 43 constitutes for the parties an express requirement, for the purposes of the second paragraph of article 331.7 of the Code of Civil Procedure (chapter C-25) (as it read before 1 January 2003), to file the exhibits and examinations on discovery at the office of the court within 15 days.
